take off is on the south west side of the mountain. the launch area is not very large so a bit of experience and confidence is required (33 36' 17.46' n 117 03' 49.38' w) pick a field just beware of some power lines which there are not many of but keep an eye out. (33 36' 27.96' n 117 04' 25.57w) hike the fire road up the mountain on the north side or take the fast way and hike through the bushes up the west side and follow the ridge up. looks for a cell phone tower at the top and head south from it. the launch is marked with rock piles
